When Wills Ottawa first sent an email with #fleet #fire I scrolled up & down looking for some sort of explanation of these pictures taken on Friday evening, but there was nothing so I closed the email and dug into my Monday.
Later that day I re-opened the email thinking I must have missed something and in fact I think I did! Photography is art and art is interpretative so I think what I missed was not written text but rather a feeling about what the photographer was trying to convey.
PRIDE is what I seen this time when I looked at the pictures. PRIDE when looking back at the end of another long work week. PRIDE in seeing what the average person would call trucks but what we see as our fleets. FLEETS that stand guard outside our warehouses every night until the return of their human teams every morning.
Maybe we should all stop/pause and reflect on what we see and how we interpret those reflections.
